Meet James
James is an accredited counsellor and member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA).
I have many years of personal experience supporting people of all ages, from all walks of life through challenging life circumstances.
My background is in working with disabilities, complex mental health issues and the criminal justice system.Combining these experiences and training with a career in counselling has given me a great understanding and passion for working with people who are needing some extra support.
I use a person-centred approach where I listen to my client's experience and then collaborate with them to set achievable goals. I provide a trusting, safe and non-judgemental space to work with my clients where the client-therapist relationship is highly valued. I provide a gentle and calming presence and I listen with empathy and kindness.
My goal is to hear and support you as you navigate your particular life challenges.
I would love to hear your story and work with you to achieve your goals
